Rachel Clark Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Therapy can be helpful for anyone who wants to explore the way they’re thinking or feeling further, as well as for anyone experiencing a problem or issue they are keen to resolve. The aim is to facilitate change and assist people in finding meaningful alternatives to their present unsatisfactory ways of thinking, feeling, or behaving. Therapy also tends to help clients become more accepting both of themselves and others and can be most useful in promoting personal development and unlocking inner potential.
Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling
I am a fully qualified and registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor with a friendly, calm and reassuring manner that will help you feel at ease. I can offer you a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings. I adhere to the BACP code of ethical standards and conduct, including undertaking supervision and continuous professional development.
I am experienced working with anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression, OCD, relationship problems, self-esteem, insomnia, and anger management. Our work together can help find healthy coping mechanisms, develop self-awareness, improved problem solving, better communication, and identifying bad habits or a wrong direction.
Being an integrative therapist means I can use humanistic (person-centred), analytic (psychodynamic) approaches, and I also use CBT (which in essence means listening/understanding your reality, how the past may have impacted your present, and to help you to build strategies to move forward so you feel more resilient).
